What are Adaptogens?

How Do I Use Them?

Herbs can be taken two ways: in either their natural form, like the leaves and flowers we use for tea, or in a powdered extract form. Both are effective in their own right, and the choice just depends on what works best for your lifestyle. If you love a cup of hot tea, starting with loose blends will probably work best. If you're more of a smoothie & juice girly, our adaptogen powders are a great option to stir and go.

  • Adaptogen Powders
    Adaptogen powders are ground from dried herbs & roots. Add a teaspoon to your smoothie, juice, yogurt, latte, salad dressing, or any slightly thick liquid of choice! Stir in directly, or mix with a splash of water first
    for even easier blending.
  • Herbal Teas
    Our loose leaf teas are made from a combination of berries, leaves, roots, & petals. We recommend to simmer or steep in warm water to extract their healing properties.

How Often and How Much?

Adaptogens always work best when used consistently over time. Everyone's body and routines are different, so that that looks a little different for everyone. I always recommend as much consistency as possible with small breaks to let your body adapt and take inventory of how you feel. That routine might be every other day, aligning with a certain phase of your cycle, or a daily dose for long stretches with mini breaks in every few months. Finding a rhythm that works for you is integral in building an herbal practice, and there is truly no "right" answer.

Herbalism is a practice and a unique journey for each individual, so the most significant results will
always come from developing a personal relationship with the herbs.
Notice the changes in your body as you take them in, and tailor your
dosage to what feels best for YOU. Our bodies are smart and will tell us
what they need, our only job is to listen.

Shipping & Returns

When will my order arrive? All
orders ship within 5-7 business days of receipt. You will receive an
email notification with USPS tracking when items have shipped. Transit
times are typically 1-5 business days.

Do you ship internationally?
We are currently only shipping to US and Canada. When we can offer an affordable, consistent rate for all our customers we will expand our international shipping ASAP.

**Please note there may be additional customs fees applied to your order. We unfortunately have no way of knowing which packages will incur this fee or have a way of calculating this cost. You are responsible for paying this fee in order to receive your package.

How much is shipping? Shipping is free in the United States on any order over $75. For orders under $75, shipping is $4.99. For International shipments, we offer live shipping pricing on our site depending on your destination. Your exact shipping quote will be reflected at checkout. **Please note that customs and fees are usually reflected in the total cost, however the buyer is responsible for all customs fees for international orders.  

Where is my package? You
will receive tracking information via email. If you have received a delivery e-mail but have not yet received your order, it is possible your package was scanned but is still on the truck for delivery. Please wait 3 business days to see it is delivered. If your package hasn’t
arrived, we recommend checking with USPS first.

If you have placed an international order and have not received your package, your customs office is the first place to check. We are not responsible for replacing orders that are unclaimed at customs. If you have checked with your customs office and they don't have it, please
email us at care@tealadybk.com, and we'll do our best to help you out.

**We are not responsible for packages lost by the carrier or shipped to an incorrect address.

What if I put in the wrong address? Customers are responsible for entering the correct mailing address. We are unable to make changes once an order is placed. Please be sure to double-check your mailing address prior to check-out.

What is your return policy? All sales are final. Due to the nature of the product, we are unable to accept returns. For order discrepancies or damages, please contact
care@tealadybk.com within 7 days of delivery.

Safety

Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. It is not recommended to start any herbal regimen during pregnancy. Make sure you check with your care provider about any medications or
allergies that might interact with the ingredients listed. Plants are powerful and care should always be taken with regards to your personal medical history.
