Steep My Sunshine Tea

Do you already know your herbal basics?
Herbal practice might be new to you—and that’s totally fine. Herbalism isn’t about knowing everything; it’s about starting where you are and letting the plants teach you. Consider this your no-fluff herbal foundation. Here’s what you need to know
What is herbal tea?
Herbal teas are typically a blend of petals leaves, roots and berries that are steeped in water to gently extract the plant's healing properties.
What are herbal powders?
Herbal powders are a very finely ground leaf, petal, root or berry from a healing plant that is stirred directly in to your favorite smoothie, juice, latte, yogurt - or any recipe you can sneak them into.
HOw do I use them?
Herbal Powders are stirred directly into your favorite juice, latte, yogurt, or beverage of choice.
aka anywhere you can sneak them in!
Herbal Tea steeping is one part plant science and one part preference - for most teas, 5-15 minutes is perfect.
Stronger Steep = Stronger Tea
As you build your own routines and rituals, you can dial up or turn down your favorite blends as needed.
how often should I use?
Ritual building is a personal process. We suggest starting each blend with a few consistent days each week, and dial it up or down from there.
Herbs, especially adaptogens, thrive with consistency. That doesn't mean every single day for all of us, but finding a rhythm you can genuinely commit to will support peak efficacy.
Can I use both teas and powders?
The short answer is, yes.
Teas and powders are two different tools within your herbalism toolbox that can (and should) be used side by side! One complements the other. They are both equally effective - so the "right" choice for you is just whichever you will use most consistently and joyfully.
